Each January, the news magazine Virginia Lawyers Weekly reports on jury verdicts from the previous year that were one-million dollars or more.
VLW reported that Virginia had 14 jury verdicts that were above $1,000,000 in 2023.
MartinWren is both humbled and honored that it was involved in three of those fourteen verdicts. Our verdicts involved truck crash cases, medical malpractice, and mild traumatic brain injuries. One was in federal court, the others were in state trial courts in Charlottesville and Fairfax.
Though we are happy that our clients tasted of justice, we recognize that each of these clients would trade these verdicts if they could avoid the harm that they suffered.
