Rob practices civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on real estate litigation, business litigation, and plaintiff’s personal injury work. Prior to joining MartinWren, P.C., Rob served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Victor Ludwig and the Honorable W. Chap Goodwin of the Augusta County Circuit Court in Staunton, Virginia. Rob gained valuable insight and experience in that position by performing extensive legal research and drafting judicial opinions.
Rob is a 2016 graduate of Washington & Lee University School of Law, where he won awards for his performance in national mock trial competitions and a negotiations competition. During his time at W&L, he was active in a number of student organizations, including acting as the Chapter President of the VBA Young Lawyers Division, serving as a class vice-president, and being an engaged member of the Black Law Students Association.
Rob received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 2000. Following his graduation, Rob taught World History, Government, and Sociology at Western Albemarle High School for twelve years.
Much of Rob’s free time centers on his love for music. He is currently a drummer and backup vocalist for a Charlottesville reggae band, Positive Collective, and he enjoys playing shows throughout Central Virginia. Rob also serves on the Board of Directors for The Front Porch, a Charlottesville non-profit organization that teaches traditional dance and roots music.
